UFS WALK TO UHURU

The SRC announced at a student leader conference at the beginning of the year that they will be walking to QwaQwa campus  in order to raise money for the students and that there will be another campaign to climb mount kilimanjaro for the same purpose which is to help those who are unable to finish school. They have decided to use the slogan #StudentsMustGraduate. The president went on to denounce that they will be cracking down on the importance of the graduation of every student and will not allow any student whatsover to go back home because they are unable to afford Tuition costs.

This stems from the issue of many students having had a problem registering this year and so this initiative is to raise funds in order to fulfil and to help those less fortunate. This is also meant to show the public the unity between the three campuses. SRC President ,Sonwabile Dwaba and Bhekumusa Zikhali who will be taking part in this walk, have been preparing themselves with the help of the university gym KovsieFit is order to ready their bodies for this extensive walk. https://t.co/FZHBqhW2UX


The walk is supposed to take place within a period of six days. The journey started on the 17th of March and the president invited people to come and send them off so they may give them strength.

After you have been hurt once most of us become wanderers on earth, we search for things or we just exist merely for one reason being to prove a point that THEY ARE THE SAME OR TO FIND SOMETHING WAY BETTER.
