It just so happens that my friend and I went to the movies last week . We have been raving about going so we finally went there to watch "Hidden Figures" starring Taraji P. Henson, Janelle Monae and Octavia Spencer. This is a real story about a group of african american women who changed the world of NASA. When I saw the preview, It did not occur to me that this movie was about colonialism and to this degree but I knew it was about empowering women so I needed to watch it no matter what, so my partner in crime was game and we headed to Nu-metro. It is an amazing story which features the struggle women faced in the workplace and how being black, female and educated did not matter at all.
